AMY ASSELBAYE is Executive Director of the HMSA Foundation which aims to foster greater empowerment for communities by making strategic grants to Hawaii-based organizations.

ANDREW AOKI is a civic and social entrepreneur and co-founder of Islander Institute, which was formed to apply island values to the way we address systemic problems in Hawaii.

DAVID ERICKSON is Director of Community Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and works to advance the economic mobility and resilience of underserved households and communities.

DOUG JUTTE is Executive Director of Build Healthy Places Network, which catalyzes and supports collaboration across the health and community development sectors.

GRANT CHUN is Executive Director of Hale Mahaolu, a nonprofit that develops and manages quality affordable housing and provides supportive services for seniors, families, and individuals in Maui County.

HARMONEE WILLIAMS is Executive Director of Sustainable Molokai, a local, grassroots group formed to inspire youth and all Molokai residents to work toward a more sustainable future for the island.

HEATHER PIPER is President and Executive Director of Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation, a community based non-profit that facilitates affordable housing, community development, and economic development.

JOY BARUA is Senior Director of Government and Community Relations and Community Benefit at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, which has provided total health care to the people of Hawaii for nearly 60 years.

KAREN ARAKAWA is Small Business Advocate in the Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development, which works with the community, business and government sectors to strengthen and diversify the economy.

LAURA CHOI is Community Development Research Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and also serves as outreach manager for Hawaii, supporting local efforts to expand economic opportunity.

LAURA ESSLINGER is CEO of Aloha Care, a local, non-profit health plan founded by Hawaii’s Community Health Centers. Aloha Care has over 70,000 health plan members and is the third largest health plan in Hawaii.

LESLIE WILKINS is President and CEO of the Maui Economic Development Board, which leads and inspires innovation in business, education, and the community.
