Jacob Kraybill acts as Project Coordinator at the Build Healthy Places Network. Before joining the Network. Jacob manages day-to-day logistics, writes and implements communications initiatives, and develops business development proposals in his role at the Network. Previously he worked at the Public Health Institute, as well as five years at a hospital system in Pennsylvania as a communications and public relations consultant, where he coordinated people, logistics, and contracts.
Dedicated to the vision of a more just and equal world, Jacob came to San Francisco through a two-year volunteer program where he worked at two nonprofits. He coordinated the social media and outreach for Interfaith Power & Light, a network of faith communities working to slow climate change, and managed community and student volunteers at Mission Graduates, an organization in San Francisco’s Mission neighborhood that increases the number of K-12 students who are prepared for and complete a college education.
Jacob graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, with a B.A. in Global Studies. Jacob lives in San Francisco.
